Pilates Essentials for Physiotherapists is an online and on-demand course that provides clinicians with an easy to apply approach to the use of Pilates within Physiotherapy. With a focus on the initial phases of musculoskeletal injury management, this online course will guide you through the clinical reasoning, design and implementation of a comprehensive Pilates based rehabilitation program for a range of common presentations.

By exploring the origins of Contrology and the current evidence base for exercise therapy, you will examine the role Pilates plays within today’s biopsychosocial model of healthcare. You will be guided through several online modules discussing the latest evidence base for injury prevention, injury management and motor learning. In addition, you will receive online modules covering a broad range of Pilates floor and equipment exercises, exploring their technique, clinical indications, and coaching. Pilates Essentials for Physiotherapists will have you ‘Monday ready’ to start coaching your patients with a novel approach to Pilates.
