This 4 hour online workshop is designed for Physiotherapists and Health Professionals, and aims to provide the essential knowledge and skills to incorporate upper limb strength training into their practice with a focus on injury rehabilitation and prevention. It combines theoretical foundations with practical applications. Participants will engage in informative lectures covering the science behind strength training, its role in injury prevention, and the importance of program design. Practical sessions will provide hands-on experience in designing and implementing effective strength training programs tailored to rehabilitate and prevent upper limb injuries, emphasising proper technique, progression, and exercise selection.
This workshop will focus on upper limb and cervical spine injury rehabilitation.
Join online and participate in the practical component. Suggested equipment (but not required): floor space, exercise mats, resistance band, dumbbells, barbell options
